After Effects

The Hardest part of this project was the steadying and the keylighting.  Our shadows on the green screen was the same color of the light reflecting from the green screen onto our heads, so a lot of fine tuning was required for that.
Portfolio

I wanted a simple, minimalist design.  At first, I had a black and white design with similar text, but it seemed too bleak and  unappealing to the eye, so I decided on a light green base with white text.

Retouching

This project's objective was to take a photo of yourself and clean it up.  One difficulty was with the smoothing; it was hard to find the equilibrium between not enough and an unrealistic editing.  The other was to deal with the facial hair.  When I tried to use the healing or spot healing brushes on such a large area, it looked off.  I ended up keeping the facial hair on my chin but getting rid of it on my neck to give the photo a cleaner look.
Special Effects Orbs

This is a project That I did last year based off a tutorial.  I didn't like the way that the two orbs looked, so I changed them using the same method that I used for the RGB Jellyfish project I did earlier that year (using a soft brush and the smudge tool to alter a circle).

Geometric Self Portrait

This project was based off of a tutorial.  In the tutorial, the person used a centered image of his face.  The difficult portion of the project was trying to adapt to an off-center image.  By shifting the perspective of the picture and not trying to make both halves of the face symmetrical, I could complete the project.

Company Logos

The first drafts were in black and white.  I had an idea for the color scheme, which was an aqua or cyan with a green.

I am still caught between the three.

InDesign isn't as difficult as it was last year.
RGB Jellyfish

Using the brush and smudge tools, I created an outline of the jellyfish. After was just the hue/saturation tool.
